Naoko Ono
An eccentric, but also quite a stubborn man, Naoko lives a strange lifestyle not knowing of his life before the headphones took over.

Minori Sakurai
A young girl who lives the life of a homeless high-school student, she has been without a home for around 2 years and knows most of the neighborhood like the back of her hand.

Roland Baumgaertner
Totally unorthodox and strange, Roland moved from Germany to Japan in order to create a neo-nazi uprising, but his priorities are never in order.

Tamotsu Itsuhara
After much cocaine and stress in his young teenage life, Tomotsu assumes the role of two personas: a typical highschool student and a homicidal crackhead.

Haruka Umehara
The gentleman and smarts side of the twins, Haruka cares a lot for his sister as she gets in much trouble at school.

Harumi Umehara
The brawn, beauty, and the delinquent of the twins, Harumi cares not for anyone or herself, even though her brother his sticking out for her most of the time.

Arisu Fukusawa
Minori's closest and only friend at school and sometimes in the neighborhood. She's quite timid but has an extensive mind for knowledge.

Whenever a new character idea pops up in my head, I run straight to my sketchbook to draw it up. Afterwards, I end up dropping my head in dissapointment as my illustration skills are not adequate enough. But hey, it's concept art.. On the bright side, I'll reveal to you, another character!




Itsuhara Tamotsu:
Tamotsu is a 17 year-old high school student who was subdued to cocaine two years ago. The drug had caused him to go rampent and kill his mother, also chased away his wimpy father. Currently, he lives down the street from Naoko and carries the burden of two masks; the innocent high school student and the homocidal crackhead. He suddenly meets a girl who he becomes good friends with for some odd reason during school, will she find out about his secrets?

main characters info.

naoko ono:
the 23-year-old male protagonist from a rural town in the mountain region of japan.  ever since his birth, he always looked up to his father, who told him to never look back and always look forward.  naoko's father was a highly successful man who worked in the gardening business.  after his father died when he was 19, he sort of lost control of his life and ran away from home.  he lived his life as a hitchhiker, roaming different cities and towns until he finally gotten enough money to pay for a sub-par apartment and a place to work.  he spent 4 years living a routine life until one day after work, naoko encountered the headphones that changed his life.  naoko is now an alcoholic, eccentric, and happy man.


minori sakurai:
a 17-year-old homeless highschool student who was kicked out of her house by her own parents as they became abusive and demanding.  she roams the streets, attempting to survive on whatever she can fish out of people and dumps.  minori is a very agile and fast girl, which means she can pickpocket within seconds.  will her thievish ways get the best of her?


franz schulzier:
a 37-year-old german "neo-nazi" immigrant.  his grandfather was a nazi himself and that caused franz to follow in his footsteps even though his father does not approve of it.  he came to japan to seek refuge and conjure up a party of neo-nazi japanese.  franz befriended naoko by renting out his apartment room and finding out that he still lives there.  they both then become close roommates.

the story so far.

the following story takes place in a suburban community in japan, there is no specific information to exactly where this community is, so it is fictional.  this community is mixed in with both japanese and ghetto culture to make it humorous and unique.  the protagonist is a 23-year old college dropout (ono naoko) who makes a living working at a local convenience store across from his apartment complex.


during the beginning of winter, naoko is casually working at the cash register at the convenience store.  as his shift was about to end and he went out back to take out the trash, he noticed a pair of broken headphones lying at the bottom of the dumpster.  he was interested at the pair of headphones and proceeded to take them with him home.  as he began to fix it, he noticed that the parts inside of it were strange and sort of alien to the technology today.  after fixing the headphones, naoko puts them on to see how it looked and before he knew it, the connector/jack came to life and lunged towards the back of his neck, stabbing into his spine.  he blacks out and falls out of his chair...

an hour later, naoko wakes up feeling discombobulated and confused.  his memory is hazed and appearance changed a bit.  his whole life has been changed and his previous self has been wiped from existance.  it was all from the strange headphones that attacked him, the connector is plugged into a socket artificially created where he was stabbed and he is one with the headphones.  naoko gained the ability to put his connector into another persons' spine, where their spiritual socket is.  once he connects into the person, he can read their mind, mind-control them, change them, etc.

naoko slowly adapts to his new-different life, gradually having flashbacks from his previous self and gaining a reputation with the community...
